  • Values-based educational approaches empowers educational settings to underpin life and curriculum with universal positive human values such as respect, integrity, honesty and compassion. It is an explicit attempt to teach about values and/or valuing - to prepare young people to face the outside world with the right attitude. In this session, global leaders will discuss what is missing in the way education is delivered today and how it can evolve to e  ect real change of character, a passion for excellence and a drive to do good? Are there creative solutions yet to be tapped? How can education be used as a vehicle to instil the right values in young people that will better prepare them for the workplace? Can digital technologies be deployed as a platform to encourage values-based learning? What is the merit of values-based educational approaches in accelerating the delivery of SDG goals in developing and under-developed economies?   • Globally, there are lots of faith-based organisations working tirelessly to change the plight of the underprivileged and those living in abject poverty. Faith-based organizations (FBOs) are entities dedicated to specifi c religious identities, often including a social or moral component. According to the World Bank, more than 80% of the world’s population claims religious a  iliation. FBOs are found in every country and o  er opportunities for partnership and advocacy on a broad range of key development issues. Today, the Bank’s faith engagement e  orts are focused around advocacy, relationship building, evidence building, and operations to advance shared priorities around a green, resilient and inclusive recovery with strong focus on human capital, gender, fragility, and climate change. In this session, leaders from business, UN agencies and civil societies will discuss how faith-based organisations, aligned with UN SDGs, can impact the developing world.
